Senior Adult Ministry

Our church has an active group of senior adults who share their gifts in involvement in all of the ministries of the church. There are also particular senior adult ministries to provide enrichment for the lives of senior adults and opportunities for ministry to others.

PACE (Pursuing Adult Christian Endeavors) is the umbrella organization for our senior adult ministries. >> Read the PACE Director's monthly column - from the Church's Monthly Newsletter.

PACE Trips

PACE plans day trips throughout the year. Some are local trips, and some are bus trips to such places as Sight and Sound Theater in the Amish Country of Pennsylvania and Radio City Music Hall in New York.

PACE Workdays

PACE sponsors several workdays around the church to assist with certain maintenance and clean-up projects.

PACE Fellowships

PACE sponsors a special party and fellowship each year for any church members 50 and over. There is a potluck meal and a program with lots of fun.

PACE Singers

The PACE Singers is our Senior Adult Choir. You do not need any special training or the ability to read music to sing in this choir. The choir rehearses every Monday (except holidays) in the Choir Suite from 10:30-11:30 AM. Following rehearsal, a large number of this group usually goes to lunch together at a local restaurant. The PACE Choir sings periodically at our traditional morning worship service and at special programs and services. The PACE Choir also shares their music with residents in local nursing homes.

Senior Adult Sunday

Senior Adult Sunday is observed each year, usually the first Sunday in May.

Sunshine Club

The Sunshine Club is for all church members and people in our community 50 years of age and older. There is a program of enrichment and a delicious meal each month. The Sunshine Club meets on the third Thursday of each month at 10:30 AM in Room C302 and the Fellowship Hall.
